Markdown is plain text with a few punctuation rules. Files ending in `.md` are rendered automatically, and a file named `readme.md` is shown on its folder page.

Fenced blocks keep spacing and add colours. Write the language after the opening fence:

## Practical tips
|
|

- Preview before committing: the **Preview** tab in the editor renders exactly what others will see.
|

- Keep one sentence per line in long documents — differences between versions stay readable.
